From Sunrise To Sunset

1920’s My first sunrise was at WCA Hospital July 31, 1925

I lived with my parents and grandparents on South Main Street

1930’s We eventually settled at Bowen and Newton Jamestown, NY

1940’s I am a proud member of the JHS Class of 1943, went to college, and married in 1947 at 1st Presbyterian Church

1950’s and 1960’s I raised four daughters and was active in Church, PTA and family life

1970’s and 1980’s I worked for Yaw Oil, Quilted, did Tailoring and had grandchildren

1990’s to present I enjoyed Church, retirement, friends, and family and doctor appointments

And I am in the sunset of my life in Jamestown NY

My mother’s loving caring life & love of Jamestown and her family inspired this piece.  She has lived her life in and near Jamestown NY and is now at Heritage Green in Greenhurst NY.
